Crémant d'Alsace

The Paul BUECHER family has begun to produce Cremant d’Alsace from 1978, only two years after the establishment of the AOC. These sparkling wines are elaborated as per the Méthode Traditionelle (like in Champagne). They have become one of the speciality of our estate. The cremant represents now more than 25 % of the production and are frequently highlighted in blind tastings.

Unlike the other Alsace wines, the secret of this sparkling wine is the blending of different grape varieties, terroirs and even different vintages. Our assets to make nice and steady Cremant are a large vineyard and 25 years of experience ! So each of the three Cremant we produce every year shows a distinct character.
